📅 Weekly Round‑Up from the Town Centre Neighbourhood Team Another busy and productive week for the team, with plenty of positive engagement and proactive policing across the city centre 👇 🚲 Bike Marking Success PCSOs Jane and Donna held a successful Bike Register marking event in Town Hall Square, helping cyclists protect their bikes and offering crime‑prevention advice. 👋 Welcome to PC Suhaib This week we welcomed PC Suhaib to the team. He brings with him a wealth of experience and is looking forward to meeting and working with our local community. 🚓 Tackling Drug Crime & ASB The team continued targeted patrols around Town Hall Square, resulting in another positive stop search and arrest linked to drug‑related activity and anti‑social behaviour. 🎓 Sharing Knowledge with New Recruits PCs Ellis and Dean delivered training to new officers, sharing their expertise in community and partnership working to help shape the next generation of neighbourhood policing. 🚌 Beat Bus Engagement PCSO Hannah brought the Beat Bus to the Clock Tower, speaking with local residents about NHL and community concerns. 🛍️ Supporting Local Retailers The team have continued supporting our retail premises, including John Lewis, offering reassurance and working together on crime prevention. 🛡️ Safeguarding & ASB Support PC Dean has also been conducting vital safeguarding work with young people and supporting our fast‑food businesses in dealing with anti‑social behaviour.
